I had a great time photographing miss E (even amidst our recent B/N gnat infestation.) What a sweetheart. I'm a bit of a color fanatic -- I'm always studying color - people's coloring, complimentary colors, the new colors of the seasons, what colors look great on people, etc . . . I'm sure I drive my friends and fam crazy with this, but it's part of what makes me tick. And, I just LOVED E's coloring and the colors she chose for her session. Absolute perfection. wrapping up . . .
I've been loving all the fun fun sessions over the last weeks as I gear up for some time off with the "any day now" arrival of baby #3. I'm so thankful for all the sweet emails, voice mails, and prayers from clients wishing us the best and requesting pics once our girl gets here. Thank you so much everyone!! We will be sure to share as soon as possible :) In the meantime:Meet S. I loved getting the chance to work him. . . . what a fantastic guy. His look totally reminded me of my brother at this age (wow - that's nearly 20 years ago.) Enjoy the sneak peek S and fam!

I truly get to meet the most fantastic kids around. I leave every shoot so thankful for the experience and thinking how proud I know these parents are of their kids.

I've had so many amazing seniors in the last weeks, and I just hate that I don't have enough hours in the days to get sneak peeks up for everyone. But, wanted to share some recents of some GREAT kids . . .

L & fam it was a total treat getting to meet you all and "document" a little piece of you recent visit to your grandma and grandpa's house back home here in IL. You all were such a fantastically fun family and what a perfect backyard for exploring and "documenting" !! hehe.

Wish I had the time to post sneaks from all our sibling minis cause I'm telling you, I get to photograph THE cutest kids in all the area!! What a great time I had with these minis, getting to see and catch up with some fav past clients and meet some great new folks too!! another precious sister/brother duo whom I (and you, my blog readers) will have the pleasure of seeing a few more times in the upcoming year!! Love, love, love working with my baby plan families over the course of baby's first year. It is such a treat for me to really get to know these families and capture the unbelievable changes that take place in that first year with baby.
And, I can't say enough about the V fam. What a fantastic family; when you step into their home, you just immediately feel at ease . . totally laid back and calm :) Not to mention, how cute are these kids?!!

5 under 5 . . .
J&P have been blessed with 5 grandboys all under 5!! 5, 3, 2, 2 and not quite 1. Well, it took some work on grandma's part, but she was able to get all boys (and their parents) in one place at the same time - can you imagine working around 3 sets of adults' work/summer schedules, 5 little people's rest times, snack times, happy times, etc. And, then I throw in good lighting times & locations. Oh my!!!
Big kudos to the D family for pulling it all off!! Such a treat for me!
